THE KRISTEN FOUNDATION

Hello Friends, Neighbors & Fellow Golfers,

As we have for the last six years, my wife, Deb, and I will again be sponsoring a golf outing to benefit “The Kristen Foundation” of Charlotte, NC.  While the foundation is based in Charlotte, it helps families all over the United States.  We have raised over $30,000.00 in the last six years to help families in their pursuit to find their missing adult children. As most of you are aware, Deb’s son, Jason, has been missing for over twelve years. “The Kristen Foundation” provides funds for billboard advertisements, newspaper advertisements, flyers, travel expenses and other justifiable expenses related to the search, investigation and recovery of a qualified missing adult person.  All of the money raised goes toward this goal, as “The Kristen Foundation” has no paid employees or staff.  Joan and Mike Petruski are the driving force behind this organization.  Money is raised for “The Kristen Foundation” through donations, the sale of cookbooks, bracelets, our golf outing and an annual ball and golf outing in Charlotte, NC.  For those of you that have supported us in the past, we thank you sincerely and hope that you will see fit to do so again.  For those of you who are hearing about “The Kristen Foundation” for the first time, we would appreciate any support that you may be able to provide.  We are asking you to help our cause by playing in the outing, purchasing 50-50 tickets at the office, donations (prizes or money), having your company, the company you work for or another company that you know sponsor a hole or a foursome or both.  Contributions are tax deductible.  It is especially important that we have your support this year as the economic climate has required all of us to make many sacrifices. Families looking for their missing children feel this burden even more than others.
